hiiii. i saw you write for lucifer (netflix) and i was wondering if you could write some lucifer x reader angst. like something where maybe reader is one of chloe's collegues and lucifer takes great interest in her but she thinks he hates her because he tries not to show his interest. something like she ends up getting taken as a hostage on a bust when they had to split up and lucifer like gets her and they have the whole "i thought you hate me" "oh darling, i could never hate you" thing? i hope this isnt too picky.. thank you so much!! 🧃
III LOVE YOUU. thanks for requesting for my unproblematic devil, i love this!!! not too picky at all darling, let your mind flow!!! here u got 💌
(I changed it only a teeny tiny bit, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless. I also made Y/N the forensic scientist, sorry Ella, ily!!!!!)
Not what it seems
"So, what have you got, Y/N?" Chloe says as her and Lucifer walk into the lab.
"Not much," I glare at Lucifer, who's messing with the evidence, and he stops. "there are traces of cocaine on the victim's jacket, tho."
"Well, someone liked sniffing around." Chloe and I both ignore the joke.
"Yet, he had none in his system. And no history with drugs, either."
"Right, so, maybe someone who messes with them is guilty." Chloe nods at his observation and starts walking away.
"I'm going to look more into it, see if I find people in that business that were connected to him." She exits, closing the door behind her.
I go back to work, until I notice Lucifer lingering over me as I go over evidence for the fifth time today.
I turn to look at him. "Everything alright, Lucifer?"
"Me? Of course."
"... Alright then. I'm going back to the crime scene, see if I find anything else."
As I start to walk towards the door, his hand catches my wrist, making me turn to him.
"Yes?"
"Um, I...just be careful, alright?"
I don't know what to say, instead, I just furrow my brows and part my mouth.
"It's just, the detective wouldn't like anything to happen to you."
I nod, now understanding what this is actually about.
"...Right. Yeah, I'll be okay."
I release myself from his grip and make my way towards my car.
After a short drive I arrive to the victim's house, seeing the yellow tape wrapped around the area. I leave the vehicle and start walking to the entryway when I feel a pair of gloved hands hold a cloth against my nose.
————————————
My head feels light and my mouth dry as I slowly peel my eyes. There is no light and I have no idea for how much time I've been out.
"You shouldn't have gone back."
I try to search for the source of the voice, but I can't see anything and I can't tell wether it's the darkness or the state of dizziness I'm in.
"What do you want with me?" My voice is hoarse and barely hearable, but I receive an answer anyways.
"With you? I want nothing with you. I just wish you hadn't been so curious, then I wouldn't have to do with you what I have to do now."
Just as I see a masked figure walking towards me from the dark, I hear two gunshots. The man walks away to look for the source of them, and then I hear Chloe's voice.
"You get Y/N and I'll get the killer." She shouts to another person, which I'm assuming is Dan.
I remain seated with my legs tied to the chair and my arms behind my back. I hear running steps, and once I see their owner, I can't help but feel a little safer.
"Y/N!" He releases a breath I didn't know he was holding, and, by the look on his face, I assume he didn't know either.
His loolk lingers on my face for a second too much, but he is quick to start untying me. Once I'm free, he helps me up to my feet.
His hug catches me by surprise. "Are you okay?"
"I-im fine." I find myself leaning against his touch and releasing tension I also didn't know I was holding in.
"Lucifer, did you find her?" We hear Chloe's voice echo.
'Y-yes, I found her, detective."
"Okay, leave!"
"What?" I ask this time.
"Just leave, get her somewhere safe."
Lucifer's hand meets mine and we rush out the door. Once we meet the moonlight, we are breathless from running.
"You should probably get some food and water. Lux is only a few blocks away, do you mind walking?"
"I can just get a cab home, it's fi-"
He cuts me off and repeats his question, pausing after every word. "Do you mind walking?"
"No"
He nods. The walk to his penthouse is quiet and calm, as the ride on the elevator. I sit on the couch as he takes off his jacket as throws it on top the piano. He makes his way behind the bar and pours two glasses of whiskey.
"You should probably have some water, too."
"It's fine. I'm fine, Lucifer. I don't need anything"
"Well, of course you do, love."
My stomach flips at the casually thrown nickname, but I make sure not to show it nor look his way.
"Is everything truly fine, Y/N?"
"Yes, it's fine. So fine I should get going."
"Is there something you're not telling me?"
"Is there something you're not telling me?"
"I-" I can see his mind debating whether or not he should actually tell me anything he's thinking about. "Are you really that clueless?"
He walks towards me, shortening the space between us. He is so close to me I can see the glint in his eyes and the way his lips open and close as he breathes.
"W-what?" My chest rises up and down, nervous about our proximity.
His eyes linger on my lips and search for an answer in my eyes. An answer to what, that I don't know. I try to take in all of him, knowing this is as close as Lucifer will ever get to being as vulnerable as he is right now. Both physically and emotionally.
After a few seconds, we both can't take it any longer. I crash my lips against his'. They move in syntony, like it was a habit. Not even a minute goes by and we have to pull back to catch our breaths. Our chests rise and fall together and I can hear his beating heart.
"I have been waiting ages to do that."
"What?" I open my eyes to see him already looking at me, with a surprisingly adoring look on his eyes.
"I have been waiting ages to do that. To kiss you, feel you."
"I...thought you hated me."
"Oh, darling," the back of his hand meets my face, pushing away a few strands of hair and tucking them to my ear. "I could never hate you."
His lips meet mine once again, both of his hands grabbing the back of my neck. He starts walking backwards and I follow, not breaking the kiss.
Suddenly, the moment is broken by a ringing phone.
We break the kiss, once again, and he fishes his phone out of his pocket, answering the call.
I can hear a voice on the other side, frantically speaking.
"Yes, yes, she is fine, detective." He smiles at me. "Alright, we'll be there in five."

Adolescent Antichrist (Book 4) Chapter Two
Father Figure! Lucifer x Teen! Reader
Chapter Two: Death Doesn't Give Me Panic Attacks Anymore
Summary: Chloe returns to Los Angeles, and (Y/N) tries to learn to fly.
            “No,” said (Y/N).
            “It would be educational,” said Lucifer.
            “Still no,” said (Y/N).
            “It could be interesting,” said Lucifer.
            “I’m not going to a crime scene with you just because you’re afraid to see Detective Decker, Dad,” said (Y/N).
            Lucifer sighed and straightened his jacket. “Very well. I’ll brave the stares myself, then. Hopefully she doesn’t try to shoot me to prove the issue.”
            (Y/N) groaned inwardly at his words. Damn, he probably will get into trouble… “Alright, alright, fine. I’m coming. But you owe me.”
            Lucifer brightened. “Of course. Whatever you want!” He was more than willing to spoil them.
            “I’m going to make your pockets hurt,” said (Y/N).
l
            “Go home, Lucifer,” said Dan, holding him back from entering the crime scene. He groaned when he saw (Y/N). “And take your kid home. Seriously, they shouldn’t be at a crime scene.”
            Your kid? Lucifer felt himself straighten at how natural it was for even others to acknowledge it.
            “In my defense, the previous times I was at a crime scene were unfortunate accidents,” said (Y/N).
            “Doesn’t matter, you’re not coming to this one,” said Dan. He looked back to Lucifer. “Chloe’s still not here, no matter how much you check, and we don’t need you, so…”
            “Regardless, I am still a consultant with the LAPD,” said Lucifer. “And, oh, yes, you have no authority over me whatsoever.”
            “Oh, yeah, right,” said Dan bitterly, brushing past Lucifer.
            “Dan doesn’t mean it,” said a young woman to Lucifer. “Losing Charlotte screwed him up really bad.” Her eyes fell on (Y/N), and she brightened. “Oh! Are you (Y/N)?” She jumped up and grinned.
            “I am,” said (Y/N).
            “I’m Ella! I’m in forensics,” she said excitedly. “It’s so great to finally meet you. Lucifer is always talking about you.”
            (Y/N) blinked and felt themself smile at the idea. Lucifer talked about me? “It’s nice to meet you, too.” They glanced at Lucifer.
            He avoided their gaze. Yes, he talked about them quite a bit. He was a proud father. They were his kid. They were incredible and strong and intelligent and everything great. Why wouldn’t Lucifer talk about (Y/N)?
            Lucifer cleared his throat. “Well, in regards to Dan, I understand, but I refuse to be the scapegoat he uses to blame. It’s a theme of my life.”
            “It’ll take all of us a while,” said (Y/N).
            “You knew Charlotte, too?” said Ella.
            “Yeah.” During and after Missy the Goddess took over her body. So a little complicated, there.
            “Well, personally, I’m still not straight with the Big Guy,” said Ella. “Not sure I ever will be.”
            “Well, His loss if so, Miss Lopez,” said Lucifer.
            Ella smiled before focusing on the case. “So, do you want the deets?” she said. She glanced at (Y/N). “Or, uh, should they go first?”
            (Y/N) glanced at the body. “I’ve seen worst.”
            “That sucks,” said Ella.
            “Yeah.” (Y/N) agreed wholeheartedly.
            “Well, actually, I didn’t want to give Dan the satisfaction, but, uh.” Lucifer stumbled over his words. “He’s right. I think it’s time I stop coming to crime scenes.”
            “You mean you’re done showing up, checking to see if Chloe’s here, and then heading out without helping at all?” said Ella knowingly, and (Y/N) rolled their eyes, wondering how often he’d been doing it before dragging them along.
            “Yes, it seems I’ve been holding onto false hope, it seems,” said Lucifer. “Quite foolish, really. That one day, she’d just stroll up behi—”
            “Hi, Detective,” said (Y/N), interrupting Lucifer. He jumped and turned. Chloe was standing behind him.
            “Hey. Sorry I’m late,” said Chloe to Ella.
            “Decker!” Ella hugged her tightly.
            “Detective?” said Lucifer in surprise and nervousness.
            “Hey, Detective,” said (Y/N).
            “Oh, my god! How was the vacation? I mean, where did you go?” said Ella. “Why are you not more tanned?”
            “Listen, I’ll catch you up on everything, I promise,” said Chloe. “But first, what’s happening?” She hadn’t even looked at Lucifer.
            “Oh, yeah,” said Ella. “Of course. So our victim is a fifty-five-year-old beekeeper named Bob Golbeck. Cause of death…honey scraper to the neck.” Ella continued, but no one was really paying attention.
            Lucifer continued staring at Chloe and how normal she acted, and she glanced at him as if confused. Then she noticed (Y/N).
            “Lucifer…why did you bring (Y/N) to a crime scene?” said Chloe.
            “I’m doing fine,” said (Y/N). “Death doesn’t give me panic attacks anymore. I’m desensitized.”
            “Detective. Are you…okay?” said Lucifer.
            “Yeah, I’m fine,” said Chloe.
            Huh. (Y/N) cocked their head.
            Lucifer didn’t buy it. “So, where did you go?”
            “Oh, uh, I took Trixie to Europe,” said Chloe. “And we traveled around and…well, you know…” She glanced at (Y/N) uncertainly. “It gave me time to process what I saw.”
            “And have you…processed?” said Lucifer. “Are-are you okay with what you saw? Are you okay with me?”
            “Well, it’s not like you haven’t always told me the truth,” said Chloe. “You know? So…I think, deep down. I just, I always knew.”
            “Good for you,” said (Y/N). Chloe’s eyes snapped to them. “I mean, it didn’t take me that long to get over it, but still, I guess it is a shock for a lot of people.”
            “You…know?” said Chloe in surprise.
            “Yeah, before he even fostered me,” said (Y/N) with a shrug as if being brought in by the devil was a normal occurrence. They crossed their arms and looked at Lucifer. “And now that you don’t have a reason to by shy, I’m heading out.”
            “Alright, be careful getting back to the penthouse,” said Lucifer.
            “Yeah, yeah,” said (Y/N), but they were smiling. “I’ll see you, Dad. And don’t forget you still owe me!” They walked off before Lucifer could disagree.
            Chloe looked between Lucifer and (Y/N) as they walked away. They truly weren’t shaken at Lucifer’s identity. They had known for years. And Lucifer was gentle with them, kind, a real father. (Y/N) had even called him “Dad.”
            Lucifer really didn’t seem too devilish.
l
            “Oh, good, you’re back,” said Em, waiting for (Y/N) in the doorway of the penthouse.
            “Decker didn’t freak out seeing Lucifer,” said (Y/N). “So I wasn’t that needed.”
            “You’re still going to squeeze him for cash, aren’t you?” said Em. (Y/N) smirk was devilish, and Em sighed. “You do know he’d spoil you for no reason, right?”
            “Yeah, but this is more fun,” said (Y/N).
            “Well, I really hate to ruin your fun, but I’m stealing you now,” said Em sarcastically.
            “Huh?” said (Y/N).
            “You haven’t been working your abilities,” said Em. She put her hands on her hips. “And unfortunately, I have to pick up your slack.”
            “Wrong, I have been working my umbrakinesis,” said (Y/N).
            “Have you even looked at your wings recently, though?” challenged Em. At (Y/N) silence, they rolled their eyes. “Right. Come on. There’s a bus leaving in ten minutes for some towns outside of Los Angeles. We’ll head there and practice.”
            “Practice?” said (Y/N).
            “Yeah. To fly,” said Em.
            (Y/N) groaned. “What do I need to fly for?”
            “You have wings. You could use them instead of making them useless,” shot back Em.
            (Y/N) scowled. “Why are you teaching me? You can’t fly.”
            “It’s me or Lucifer,” said Em.
            “…You. I can insult you when I’m annoyed,” said (Y/N).
            “Yeah, sure, Birdie,” said Em, flicking the feather necklace at (Y/N)’s neck.
l
            “Alright, no one’s around,” said Em. “We can practice here.”
            (Y/N) looked around at the tall canyon walls around them, keeping them in a protected bowl, away from the view of others. “How should I start?”
            “Actually bring out your wings instead of always avoiding them,” said Em.
            (Y/N) scowled, not liking the twist in their stomach as Em easily read their emotions and inner turmoil. “I don’t avoid them. They just…You know, I’m not human with them.”
            Em stared at them. “You’re kidding, right?”
            (Y/N) glared harder at her. “I was being honest!”
            Em snorted. “You’re not human. So forget about that.”
            “You can’t expect me to just accept that,” said (Y/N) incredulously.
            Em leaned towards (Y/N). “You’re a Celestial, Birdie.”
            “…What?”
            Em rolled her eyes, and they put their hands on her hips. “You have abilities and wings. You’re a Celestial, Birdie.”
            “How? I was born human,” said (Y/N).
            Em had her suspicions that (Y/N) and Lucifer’s father-child relationship had affected (Y/N)’s humanity, but she wouldn’t be the one to point how that they were idiots for not realizing themselves. So, they just shrugged. “Who cares? It’s a fact that you have wings and powers. So come on, let’s use them.”
            (Y/N) hesitated a moment longer before rolling their shoulders and letting their wings spread out. They were larger than last time, spreading out from their shoulder blades like a cloak of scarlet, each feather brilliant in the sunlight.
            Em stared at them in awe for a moment before nodding. “Yeah, those are definitely full-grown. But who knows, if you grow more, they might, too.”
            (Y/N) groaned. “I don’t need them bigger than this. Let’s just get to flying. How do I do that?”
            Em and (Y/N) stared at each other in silence. Em shrugged. “Run?”
            (Y/N)’s eyebrow twitched. “You didn’t have a plan?”
            “I watched some bird videos,” said Em defensively. “Just trying running and jumping and focus on flapping your wings.”
            “Fine, fine,” said (Y/N). “We don’t have a better idea.”
            They took a few steps back, and Em moved to the side. Taking a deep breath, (Y/N) ran forward, trying to pick up speed, and jumped into the air. Their wings barely flapped, and they stumbled as they landed. Gritting their teeth, (Y/N) tried again. And again. And again.
            “Yeah, my wings don’t like this,” said (Y/N). They looked up. “How does Lucifer fly?”
            “He just…flaps his wings?” said Em.
            (Y/N) felt ready to strangle the demon. “Without running?”
            “Oh, yeah, I guess not,” said Em.
            “I hate you,” said (Y/N).
            Em smirked. “No, you don’t. That’s why you’re still here.”
            (Y/N) hated that Em was right. “Fine. I’ll try Lucifer’s way.”
            Standing still, they focused on their shoulder blades. They tried to extend their muscular awareness to the newly formed muscles in the wings sprouting from them. Slowly, their wings twitched and moved, flapping in the wind. It was shaky, but (Y/N) lifted off the ground.
            “There you go, Birdie,” said Em encouragingly.
            “Shit!” (Y/N) freaked out as they went up and let go of their control, falling back down.
            Em caught them, and they both tumbled to the ground. They turned on the ground to look at each other and burst out laughing.
            “Well, that sucked, but I got up,” laughed (Y/N).
            “Yeah, up, up, and away,” snorted Em with a wide smile. “Let’s not take the nickname too seriously, Birdie.”
            (Y/N) grinned and laughed.
            And the pair lay there under the sun together before getting up and trying again. And again. And again. And if neither wanted to be the one to suggest finishing, then that was for them to know.

Could I request protective Jo's Cleary-Lopez, where she maybe has to throw a punch or two and reader finds it extremely extremely hot
✧ Sweet Revenge
Jos Cleary-Lopez x fem!reader
Warnings: coarse language, violence, sexual assault mentions, tiny make-out scene
In which Jos stops a guy’s unwanted advances on you- with a punch (or two)
Requested? Yes / No
“Hey, Jane. Have you seen y/n?”
“No, sorry.”
“Oh, my god. y/n, pick up, please!” Jos said to herself, pushing way out of your favourite coffee shop.
“Jos! Wait- you didn’t let me finish. Ella saw her go to the bar nearby.”
“Oh, God. Thank you, thank you.” Jos continues exiting the place, bumping into Ella on her way out- she’d just came back from her break.
It wasn’t late at night, but Jos was worried the second she heard about where you were headed this evening. The minute you revealed your plans to go to a bar, she got a feeling in her gut that something was about to happen. You called her a worrywart for it, because usually, even though she wasn’t wrong, they never turned out to be that serious. But of course, you had The Power now, you could take care of yourself. Jos ran the two blocks to the bar that Jane told her the name of.
It was insanely crowded. She literally had to weave through group of people in that place and keep her eyes peeled for you. Jos had no idea what you were wearing tonight- and she’d asked. But you didn’t answer.
“Hey, you see her in here?” Jos asks the bartender.
“She’s been in the bathroom awh-”
“Fuck you!” Jos’ ears perked up at your cry, making a mad dash for the bathroom. “Move! Get out of the way.”
When Jos stepped into the bathroom, she sees a guy practically fly out from a stall, hit his head and fell. “Freak!” He screamed.
Jos ran into that stall, but not before zapping the hell out of him and giving him a couple of punches to the face, “I knew it, asshole. You’re lucky I don’t kill you right this second because I sure as hell can.”
The guy scurries off before Jos could do anything else. You were so out of it, she didn’t know what to do. But could see the blood on your inner thigh. Her blood ran cold as she took a second to collect herself before helping you up. “We’re going to the hospital.”
You told her shakily that you didn’t want that, but she insisted. “y/n, please. It’s just to be safe.”
“I couldn’t have been safer- yet he still got to me.”
“What did he do?”
“What do you think, Jos?” You asked harshly, getting into the front seat of her car unsteadily, “I don’t want to go to the hospital, I’m fine. I fought him off. The blood is from him clawing at me.”
“Are you sure?”
“I just want to go home and get some sleep, please. Jos, I can’t take anymore of this anymore- this night.
————
Jos took you home, got you ready and tucked into bed. “Do you want me to stay with you?”
“Actually, yeah. Will you? Please?”
“Of course, y/n.” She stays seated, “Do you want anything? Water? A snack?”
“No, I’m good. Really, he didn’t do anything more then try to touch me and then try to put his fingers in-”
“y/n, I got it. You don’t have to say it.” Jos stops you.
“That’s I zapped him. And he…flew. Guess this is why we got The Power.” You sighed softly.
She nodded in agreement, “Did you clean the blood off?”
“No, I’m tired.” You shook your head no and just snuggled under your blankets.
“Those scratches looked pretty bad, y/n. What if they get infected?”
“Jos, please.” You pleaded, “Thank you for helping me, but I’m just feeling a lot right now and I can’t-”
“I’m sorry, y/n.” Her eyes softened, “I’m just worried. I’ll let you sleep, alright? I’ll be on the chair if you need anything.” Before Jos got up, she presses a kiss to your forehead and caressed your cheek.
‘I’m sorry I just let you go on your own. I should’ve been there with you and this wouldn’t have happened.’ She thought to herself as she sat down on the armchair by your bay window, watching you sleep. Jos was so glad that it wasn’t the worst case scenario that she’d witnessed, but it was no denying that it was a traumatic event.
Neither of you brought up what happened that night again. It was as though it hadn’t happened. Friday afternoon, after school let out, you were with Jos at a park near her place. Just to hangout, as usual. A couple bags of chips and a can of soda each.
“That night, what happened…I just wanted to tell you that the next morning, after you left I went to see a doctor. She said I was fine, Like, there’s nothing I need to be concerned about other than the fact that one of the scratches might leave a bit of a scar. But the bruises, and the fact that he tried to touch me…they took note of it and I made a report after they gave me an exam. But there’s no guarantee they’ll even go forward with it because…that’s a problem they have. I even scratched him too so they actually managed to get his DNA.”
“We know that guy. He goes to our school.”
“I know that. Just that- if they end up going anywhere with the investigation, they probably would ask me to pick him out of a lineup or something.”
“You already talked to the police?”
“Yeah, that morning I did.”
Jos replies with a solemn ‘okay’, “I’m just glad you’re okay. I’m sorry I didn’t protect you better.”
“Jos, you did what you could. But I still went against your advice.” You stopped her. “It’s not your fault.”
Jos looked at you and gave you a small smile, her hand reached down into the bag of chips at the same time you did- her hand brushed against yours, causing a literal spark to be felt. “Sorry.” Jos chuckles, pulling her hand away.
“Jos, can I tell you something?” You cleared your throat, “When I saw you punching that guy, I was…wow. I don’t know- I just liked that for some reason.”
“What are you saying?” Jos asked quietly.
“That, that moment. Made me realise, you are the one I’ve had feelings for all this time. That was really-” You revealed. She cuts you off before you finish your sentence, cupping your cheek, “Can I give you a kiss?”
You gave Jos a quick nod, responding by leaning in. She presses her lips against yours, both of your lips moving in sync. “I like you, too.”

Dig It in There, Mr Spock (Ella Lopez x M!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Ella Lopez x Male Reader (trans-friendly) Rating: Mature Words: 835 POV: Second Summary: Ella and you are cosplaying as Kirk and Spock and uhhh you two ship Spirk. Note: For the prompt ‘cosplay’.  See my kinktober 2022 masterlist here.  It is vaguely suggested that reader has a penis, but could just as well refer to a strap or whatever. WARNING: bad Star Trek puns, most of them a courtesy of this song Tags: attempted sex, wholesomeness in Kinktober? it is more likely than you think, trekkie things, very suggestive, does this count as a song fic?, and mild injury (you’re gonna be fine)
You posed in the doorway, until your girlfriend noticed you were standing there. Until then, you watched her check herself out in the mirror, scrutinising every detail of her cosplay. It was redundant, really. One look and you could tell she looked like the sexiest female Kirk to ever exist. When she finally saw you, she jumped in surprise. Her eyes went wide as saucers and her smile lit up the whole bedroom. “Oh my gooood,” she squealed, before putting her hands on you. She felt up the fabric and squeezed your muscles underneath. “Wow Mr Spock, you are hot or should I say… stunning?”
You chuckled and rolled your eyes at her. The original Star Trek uniform was frankly just a colourful shirt with a logo on it, black pants and heeled boots. However, it worked and you had to admit, you also felt kind of sexy in it, especially with the hungry look in Ella’s eyes. The fact that you had not put on the wig and ears yet may have helped. You put your hands on her sides, just above where her yellow dress fanned out. “You look like you want me to send a multiphasic torpedo to penetrate your rift, captain.”
Ella bursted out into laughter. You could not keep a straight face for long, her laugh too contagious to keep your own in check. Ella leaned against you as she laughed her ass off. “Oh number one, aren’t you a charmer?” She joked back, before dragging you further into her bedroom. “I would love it if you explored my Jeffrey’s tube.” You almost fell over laughing.
“This is why I have been and always shall be your boyfriend; we’re both awful,” you giggled, while Ella pulled you in, until her bum hit the dresser.
“Shhh, number one, no one should know we’re breaking the frat regs,” she whispered while she sensually touched your lips with her finger. You smirked and slid your hands lower, before lifting Ella on top of the dresser. It was permanently empty for this very purpose.
Before another bad line could come out of her, you kissed her. She hummed into the kiss, arms wrapping around your neck. You rubbed her thighs, feeling her warm skin up. “Permission to lower your shields?” You grinned against her lips with your fingers hooked around her panties. Ella almost fell off the dresser laughing. She held onto your arms, giggling like a schoolgirl and nodding. With her help, you managed to get her panties off her. Ella pulled you back against her lips, kissing you eagerly, while your hands felt underneath her uniform. “Let me give you all I’ve got. Spread your nacelles,” you hummed against her lips.
She stopped abruptly with kissing you. “Excuse me, what?” You repeated what you said, slower this time. “What are nacelles?” You sighed, knowing you killed the mood and Ella’s curiosity always won over her sex drive.
“Nacelles are like the engines you see on the bottom of a plane’s wings. The Enterprise has also two. Kind of looks like legs to me.” “Oh those! They look like arms to me.” “Well, do you wanna spread your arms or legs?”
Ella, being the know-it-all, spread her arms, so you grabbed her below the arms and swung around to toss her onto the bed. She chuckled. “You’re a Vulcan in the streets and a Klingon in the sheets, huh?” You rolled your eyes and took your boots off, before joining her on the bed. “Yes, come here and get lost in my delta quadrant,” she added for good measure.
You ran your hands up her legs and pushed her skirt up. “All right, all right, I will boldly go where no man has gone before, but first let me lick your warpcore manifold,” you said half-laughing as you kissed up her thigh. Ella could not stop laughing, so much that she stopped you from doing anything, until she could at least breathe. It was not like you could actually do anything, while cracking up and gasping for air yourself.
“Lick… lick a…” She could hardly form words. “Lick a quantum sin… singularity in my… my transwarp conduit.” After getting the joke out, she accidentally hit you in the head with her knee, hard enough that you lost your balance and rolled right off the bed. “Oh my god! Are you ok?”
You lied on the floor next to the bed, still giggling and rubbing the side of your head. When you looked up, you saw Ella hanging over you, body still a little shaking from laughter, but she was looking worried as well. You sighed and nodded. “Yeah, but I think it would be highly illogical to dig it in there right now.”
Ella chuckled and shook her head. “All right, Mr Spock. Let’s wait until pon farr, before I let you beam into my cavern.” You scoffed and let her pull you off the floor and into her arms for another kiss.

Dumb movies and dinner
Tumblr media
It was Ella’s lunch break after almost all morning of working nonstop in her new case, and she’d called you in hopes of getting her mind off the case.
“And then they bring back Superman with some weird box, I don’t know,” you finished explaining, taking a bite from your pizza slice.
“And how did it end?” Ella asked intrigued.
“I- I don’t know, I fell asleep,” you said.
“Y/n! Now I’m gonna have to watch it,” she said,  playfully smacking your arm.
As you were laughing you noticed Ella stopping and leaving her food on the table as she went to the stool next to all the case’s things.
“Hey, what did you find?” You asked approaching her.
“Remember how I told you we couldn’t find anything in the victim’s life,” you nodded, “well, what if that was the plan… What if the company helped them disappear, like I don’t know a back door kinda thing, where they make you go away and then split the insurance money or something and…” she kept explaining it but you were lost, just nodding along.
“Sorry, I got caught up, I get annoying when I find stuff,” she said embarrassed.
“Uh- Not at all, I don’t think you’re annoying… I know… I really like listening to and hearing what you have to say even if I don’t get most of it,” you said.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I mean, I don’t know half the things you said but it seems like it’s going somewhere.”
“It is, y/n. This could be huge,” she stopped in her tracks and looked at you.
“You need to get to this right?” You asked.
“I’m sorry,” she said.
“Hey, don’t be. I’ll leave you to it, I’m gonna go see if I find that movie and maybe we can watch it together, yeah?” You suggested.
“I’d love that,” she said kissing you. “And I love you.”
“I love you too, babe. See you tonight.”

nerd basket
requested by @hellotvshowtrash: Could you maybe do a fluffy nerdy fic for Ella from Lucifer? 🥺
ok well this might not be exactly what you were asking for,,, but when i started talking about baby yoda, i just branched off into other things that i liked, so,,,,,,, also the title will make MUCH more sense once you completely read it lmaoooo
Tumblr media
pairing: ella lopez x reader
word count: 565 words
warnings: none???
“I love Baby Yoda—”
“—excuse me?”
You quickly looked over, seeing Ella standing there.
“His name is not Baby Yoda, it’s the child—”
“—yeah, yeah, I know, but it’s a cute name!”
“His name isn’t even Yoda,” Ella grabbed ahold of your arms.
You rolled your eyes, unable to keep yourself from smiling.
“Alright, alright.  I love the child.”
“That’s much better.”
“Favorite character from Harry Potter.  Go!”
Ella quickly sat down in front of you, excitedly starting you down.
“Oh, well, I would have to say mine is [Character].”
Ella rose an eyebrow.  “Really?  Huh.  I wouldn’t have guessed that.  Really didn’t—”
Lucifer popped up beside the two of you.  “Dumbledore sucks.”
“Hey!” Ella’s eyes widened as she looked up at him.  “What the hell, man?  Did I really ask you for your opinion?!”
“You spoke it into existence, I was simply telling you how I feel.”
“Do you like Game of Thrones?”
You looked up at Ella, raising an eyebrow.  “Well, uh, I guess.  I don’t really—”
“Great, that’s all I needed to know.” she grinned.  She hugged onto you before she rushed off, leaving you confused.
“Opinion on The Office?”
“Ella, this is the third time today—”
“—yeah, yeah, just tell me.  Do you like it, or not?”
“Ella, please, hon, I just need to finish this and then we can talk, okay?”
Ella just smiled and nodded.
“Okay, okay.  Want a coffee?  Can I bring you a coffee?”
“That would be great,” you admitted, softly smiling at the girl.  “Thanks.”
Walking to your desk one morning, there was a basket on top of it.  Filled with Baby Yoda, err, the child, your favorite Harry Potter character merchandise, a random Game of Thrones DVD, and then some stickers from The Office.  You rose an eyebrow, looking around at who could have put it on your desk. When the idea that Ella must have had to do it, you began to smile.
You looked over towards the forensics lab, noticing that Ella was busy with work.
You walked over, knocking on the door, before you walked inside.
“Ella?”
She looked over at you and smiled.  “Did you get it?  The basket?” she quickly came over to you after sitting her tools down on the table.
You quickly nodded.
Ella smiled even more and hugged tightly onto you.  “Great!  I’m so glad.  Sorry for asking all of those questions, I just—our anniversary is coming up and I want to do so much for you.  That’s just one of the first things I thought that I could do for you.  And I should have known everything, but I wanted to ask just to make sure—”
“Calm down, El,” you laughed, kissing her cheek.
Ella blushed and smiled up at you.  “Anyway, let me get back to work.  I’ll see you on my break—”
“I’m sure you’ll see me before that,” you rolled your eyes.  “Thank you for the basket…”
Ella grinned before she went back to her microscope.
You took the files she had sitting on the table, waiting to go to Chloe, and you took them for her instead.
Ella was grateful and the look she sent after you was admirable, to say the least.  She had so much to say and so much to do to get ready for your actual anniversary.

Local Woman Made of Sunshine Makes Partner So Happy and Gay! More at 11 . . .
Tumblr media
Drives/rides shotgun: Ella told you relatively early on in your relationship about her past as a car thief. She didn’t seem ashamed of it, but she didn’t exactly state it as a source of pride, either. It was just simply something she felt you needed to know, for whatever reason. Probably to establish a connection by just being plain honest with you. And you appreciated that. However, it didn’t occur to you that maybe, at some point in her criminal career, she might’ve acquired a taste for driving like crazy. Make no mistake, Ella had become a model citizen since those days. But it would be a lie to say that the inner speed demon in her didn’t occasionally peak out. And even though it frightened you a bit, it also invigorated you. Ella was just all kinds of exciting for you, and being able to ride shotgun with her when she just wanted to blow off some steam from a long work week did just as much for you as it did her. Sometimes, the two of you will even pretend you’re in a getaway car scene for an action movie (well, as actiony as you can be while still technically observing the speed limit and acknowledging the proper signs and stop lights). Sure, people in other cars might look at the two of you funny for fake-yelling about “coppers on your tail” or for spouting corny action dialogue, but you’ve learn long ago to stop caring as much about what people think when you’re with Ella. And even without the addition of her tempting the speed limit, it just felt nice to take drives with her. Especially on summer evenings, out to the suburbs where the air felt a little breezier without the pollution of car horns honking and tourists babbling and music thudding out of clubs on either side . . . Was it borderline hetero nonsense to hold your girlfriend’s hand while she drove? Maybe. Would you give that up? Never.
Tries to start roleplaying in bed: Ella, to your delight, amusement, and slight horror. It was never any secret that between the two of you, Ella was the more forthcoming one. Far more Type B than A, for simpler phrasing. So when the both of you began to express an interest in taking things to a more intimate level, you were a bit hesitant as to where the limitations were. Ella, on the other hand, felt no need to mince words and dance around the subject. “Hey, so what do you think about, like, a sexy thing between a human and a Vulcan experiencing Pon Farr?” she asked you one day. If anyone had seen your reaction (your eyes widened, mouth parting, toast you’d just been nibbling on dropped) and taken it at face value, they would’ve assumed that you were horrified. They also would have assumed wrong. Really, a lot of the roleplays the two of you engage in tend to be sci-fi or fantasy-driven -- and you wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s something rather thrilling about imagining you’re a Rebel spy fucking an informant for secrets, or an intergalactic traveler being seduced via “sex pollen” by a gorgeous humanoid alien. . . . Okay, so yeah, it can get kind of weird. But it works for the both of you. For one it’s a sort of interaction that demands communication, something of which you and Ella especially need to take care of due to the slight baggage she entered the relationship with. But for another on a similar note, it means the both of you can be honest with each each other about what turns the two of you on respectively. Besides, it’s nice and relaxing when the two of you come together to discuss what kooky ideas you have for the next go-round. Additionally, in an odd but endearing way, it’s helped you to come out of your shell in a sense: After all, it’s hard to turn off the confidence of a Rebel spy once you’ve tasted it. And you’re willing to bet that Ella, in some way, was aware that this would happen . . .
Brings the other lunch at work: You do. Ella works long hours at the precinct, so it’s inevitable that she sometimes needs food brought over. Usually, she packs herself something to nosh on throughout the day, but once that runs dry, she has to reach out to ordering food. Before you came along, this meant pizza deliveries and UberEats and things of the sort. And while she holds nothing against those services, it’s always a bit cheaper to just text your significant other, ask them if they can pick something up for you, and just have them bring the food in themselves. Dating you has saved her enough for her to buy a Nintendo Switch without damaging her budget! The other plus with having you deliver her lunch to her is that it gives her the chance to see you -- as stated before, the lady works some hours, so her schedule can get a bit hectic. But it always brightens her day to see you walk through that door, accompanied by a bag of her favorite food truck tacos or a box of her favorite pizza. Or just some McDonald’s. And if you’re not pressed for time or have anything else going on that day? You know she’ll encourage you to stick around and join her for a bit of late lunch. Because you know that no matter what she has you pick up for her, she’s definitely made sure that her order was large enough to accommodate two people, he big sweetie.
Thanks for your ask and your patience!

reader is a lance!sister, aka baby lance, (it’s a thing, fight me) with the powers of telekinesis, and after e1 laurel’s death, cisco helped her escape to earth 666. she was living a better life with her girlfriend, maze, until her sister showed up on her doorstep spouting her “end of the world” spiel. apparently, you were one of eight paragons and without you, the multiverse would be destroyed...
i do not give you permission to repost or translate my fics on any platform - likes/reblogs are okay and are much appreciated

“Okay, so he was killed by his wife?” You asked, sitting on the edge of the Detective’s desk.
“Mmhmm, and his mistress.” Chloe added.
“God, it’s a classic Diabolique situation.”
You both turned to face the forensic scientist who seemed lost in her own thoughts.
“What?” Ella shrugged her shoulders in confusion causing you and Chloe to laugh.
You momentarily detached from the laughter, now lost in your own thoughts.
It was only natural that you had taken a job in law enforcement after Cisco had dropped you off on this Earth. I mean, your father was a police captain after all and your sister, god rest her soul, was a lawyer.
You supposed it allowed you to feel closer to them even when you were on a different Earth. Maybe that’s why you felt closer to them. You didn’t have to deal with all the pain and sorrow of their deaths that you had back home, but instead, could remember them for who they were and what they, more specifically, Laurel, always wanted.
To save the world.
Focusing back on the conversation, you and your friends’ heads swivelled to the sound of heels clacking against the marble floor. Maze, you assumed. Your girlfriend was quite the bounty hunter, you thought proudly to yourself.
“Ladies, nice to see you. Ah, Maze and...oh, hello, who is this?”
The three of you stood up when Lucifer, the Devil himself, joined you as Maze neared Chloe’s desk, a person with long hair shielding their face, locked in her grasp.
Searching her face, you realised fury filled her eyes, mixed with...a fierce protectiveness?
“Maze, baby, what’s wrong?” You asked, worried at her behaviour. Maze was almost always angry but never with this intensity.
“This human was searching for you.”
All of your gazes fell to look at the individual whose head was gripped in the arms of the infamous demon.
You squinted your eyes, trying to place the person and then your eyes widened with recognition. You only knew one person with hair that long.
“Cisco?” You questioned, bending down so you were face level with the person.
Your assumption was confirmed when the former lifted his head up and his hair fell to his shoulders, revealing his face.
“Hey, Baby Lance!” He said cheerfully despite being stuck in a vice-like grip. Yep, definitely Cisco.
“Oh My-Maze, let him go.”
Stopping yourself before name-dropping the deity, you pried your girlfriend’s arms from your friend’s body and pulled him into your arms.
“What the fuck are you doing here, Ramon?”
You laughed in shock as you hugged him tightly, having not seen him for almost 3 years.
“We were looking for you, Baby Lance.”
“We?” You and your group of friends replied simultaneously.
As if on cue, another familiar figure appeared behind Maze, calling out the meta-human’s name.
“Cisco, I told you not to run off. Especially when we’re on a diff-Oh, hi.”
She stopped abruptly when she noticed the former, you and your friends gathered at the desk.
You raised your eyebrows in question at the female, having only known her for a few months after you came back to your Earth to be with your family as you grieved on the year anniversary of Laurel’s death.
“Dinah?”
Removing yourself from Cisco’s arms, you walked up to the vigilante and stared at her and then looked back at Cisco. There was only one reason why the two of them were here together, and it wasn’t for a cute reunion.
“You both need to tell me what you’re doing here right now.”
Cisco had a pained look on his face which Dinah seemed to reciprocate. Your head flew back and forth between the two as your frustration grew.
“Guys!” You shouted, causing everyone to jump.
“We need your help, Baby Lance.” Cisco replied.
“Yeah, it’s, um, bad, y/n.” Dinah continued.
Your heart fell into your stomach as your mind ran through the worst possible scenarios. Your father and sister were already dead. Your mother was gone. That left...
“Oh, God. Is it Sara?”
You ignored the curse that fell from Lucifer’s lips after Chloe hit him when he was about to interrupt for you mentioning his father.
The meta-human duo remained silent causing you to repeat your question, eyes filling with tears.
“No, I’m okay, kid.”
At this, you looked over your shoulder. nearly collapsing with relief at what you saw. Standing in the centre of the police station was your sister, seemingly unharmed.
You ran up to her and practically launched into her arms, “Oh, I’m so glad you’re okay. I couldn’t deal with losing you too.”
“Hey, I’m okay, sweetie.” Your sister reassured you, speaking with the soothing tone she often used when you were a child.
Recomposing yourself, the two of you approached the ever-expanding group and Sara glanced at your friends before returning her attention to you, Dinah and Cisco.
“Cisco, I told you to not run off. Dinah, I told you to watch him. Y/N, we need your help.”
“I’m sorry, but who are you?” Chloe interrupted for the first time.
“Uh, I think we should take this somewhere private.” You responded.
***
At the insistence of Lucifer, you all, with the exception of Ella, went to Lux as it would be empty due to it being mid afternoon.
Upon arriving, the seven of you gathered by the bar with Maze pouring you all a drink.
“Per your request, we’re somewhere private but why are they here?” Dinah asked, nodding in the direction of Lucifer, Chloe and Maze.
“Let’s just say they are very understanding. Okay, so what is it?”
“We have a crisis.” Sara began.
“Yeah, on infinite Earths.” Cisco added.
“Wait, did you say infinite Earths?” Chloe interrupted.
Sighing deeply, you looked at your sister, “Okay, before you explain the reason for your presence here, I’m just gonna give them the rundown.”
You faced your Earth 666 friends and continued to talk,
“Long story short, we live in a multiverse with several Earths. I’m from Earth 1, this is my sister, and my friends. We’re, what we call, meta-humans. Meaning we all have powers. I can move things with my mind/hands.”
“Cisco can create portals to anywhere, including here. Dinah has a canary cry which is essentially a high-frequency scream that kills. Sara doesn’t have powers but she’s an assassin, technically died twice but was resurrected and now travels through time with another group of heroes called Legends.”
You inhaled a breath and watched as everyone’s faces dropped. Sara, Cisco and Dinah’s due to you revealing sensitive information. Maze, Chloe and Lucifer’s due to your wild explanation.
“Y/N!”
“What?” You shrugged at your sister chastising you.
“Why would they understand? They’re normal people.”
At this, the Earth 666 trio burst out laughing so you explained to your family their situation,
“These guys understand. Lucifer is the Devil. Literally. God is his father. Maze is Mazikeen aka a child of Lilith. And Chloe is, well, basically an angel.”
“So I think we’re good now. Sara, if you can now get to the point.” You said, diminishing all attempts at questioning from everyone in the room.
“Anyways, as Cisco said, there’s a Crisis on Infinite Earths. A anti-matter wave is destroying all Earths. It’s destroyed so many already, including Earth 2 and Earth 38, Supergirl’s Earth.”
You then listened as she explained all about the Monitor, Lyla and everyone’s hunt for the eight paragons, who were essentially the world’s greatest heroes. Dinah then notified you of the identities of all the paragons before stopping at the Paragon of Strength.
“Y/N. It’s you. You’re the Paragon of Strength.”
“What? No, Sara. You’ve got it wrong. I’m not a hero.”
You stumbled over your words, desperately failing at hiding your shock, eyes then widening at the slim box that the former pulled out of her jacket.
“Is that-”
“Yes.” Sara simply replied.
“No, I-I can’t. You know I can’t, Sara. I can’t be here right now.”
You downed what little alcohol you had left in your glass, welcoming the burn, and jumped off the bar stool you were currently sitting on.
You pushed past your sister, walking away before stopping at the call of your name.
“Ollie’s dead.” She said, her soft tone returning.
You looked back at her and knew her words to be true as tears filled the trio’s eyes.
“What?” Your voice broke with that one word.
“He’s gone. And we need your help to stop anyone else from dying.”
Making your way back to the group, you took the box from your sister’s hands and opened it to reveal the contents. Inside was a small, sleek black mask. The one that your sister donned when she took over Sara’s mantle as the Black Canary.
“Y/N, you have to come with us. You know Laurel wanted her legacy to continue.”
“It is! With Dinah, not with me! I’m not worthy of this. I’m not the Black Canary. I’m no one.”
BANG
BANG
BANG
Everyone’s heads turned to face the back entrance of the club where the sound originated from. Sara wielded one of her knives as did Maze. Whilst you and Cisco raised your hands in defense and Chloe aimed her gun.
The doors busted open to reveal three familiar faces. One of whom was recognised by Lucifer.
“John?” You, Sara and Lucifer shouted in confusion.
“Well, if it isn’t Constantine.” Lucifer said, purposely mispronouncing the demonologist’s name resulting in the former correcting him.
“John, what are you doing here? With Diggle and Mia, no less.” Sara asked, and you remembered that John was now a member of the Legends.
“I reassured you, Sara, that I would do whatever it takes to get Oliver’s soul back. Oh, Baby Lance, I haven’t seen you for a very long time. How you been, gorgeous?”
Maze practically growled in jealousy, pushing you behind her.
“Wait...”
Your eyes flickered between Sara, Lucifer and John and then frowned at the latter’s words. When you realised what they had done and were planning to do, you felt fury rise through your body.
“Sara, tell me you didn’t.” You asked hardly but quietly, not trusting your voice to remain calm if you spoke any louder.
Everyone suddenly felt the tension in the air and remained silent, scared that any interruption would cause you to snap.
“Sara, tell me you didn’t.” You enunciated each word, hands curling into fists at your side.
“Y/N-“
“No!”
Sara’s mouth immediately closed and whatever words she was about to say fell short.
“You’re telling me that you can use the Lazarus pit to save Thea. To save you. And now, to save Ollie. But, you cannot use it to save Laurel. Your own sister.” You said calmly, too calm.
You were trying your damnedest not to shout but the thin thread you had on your control broke when the former tried to defend herself.
“Are you fucking kidding me, Sara?!”
You extended your hand, stopping your sister from closing any further distance between the two of you. She struggled against you as you used your powers to restrict her movements.
“Y/N, stop it!”
Relenting on your intensity, you allowed her to stumble forward.
“Look, I’m sorry about that. But I’m not here for Oliver. I’m here for you.”
“Why? Because you need me?” You sneered.
“Yes, you’re one of eight people who can save the multiverse.”
“What? A paragon? Sara, I’m not the paragon of anything. Least of all, strength.”
When the former assassin tried to argue, you continued to speak, “Sara, you know I almost killed myself after you died?”
“Yeah, and Laurel saved you.” Sara answered, tears forming in her eyes at the painful memory.
“Right. But what you don’t know, is that I did the same thing after Laurel was murdered by Darhk.”
“Y/N.” Sara’s voice broke as she murmured your name, Maze doing the same.
“Yeah, and this time, Felicity saved me. I mean, I begged her not to. But she did. And here I am. So don’t you come here and tell me that I’m a Paragon of Strength when I am weak.”
You looked up at Mia, John and Diggle who were watching you in shock and returned your gaze to your sister.
“Laurel was my vice, the one person I had through everything. After she was gone, I didn’t want to live.”
You paused for a moment before adding, “Laurel may have brought you back, but as far as I’m concerned, you were dead the day the Gambit went down.”
Your words cut threw Sara like a hot knife through butter which ultimately left her reeling from the hurt she had caused. You then walked away, ignoring everyone’s shouts, using your powers to prevent them from chasing after you.
***
Slamming the door closed, you dropped your keys on the table and stormed into your living room. Tears streaming down your face, you grabbed one of your throw pillows and screamed into it.
Why? Why did this have to happen?
You were perfectly happy living your new life here but now you knew that you would never get that back. Even if you helped end the Crisis, the fact would remain that you had revealed your true nature to your family here.
Around 3 months into your relationship with Maze, she had sat you down and told you who she really was. Of course, you had doubts that she was telling the truth but you ended up believing her because what else could you do? Your life on Earth 1 was unique, why did you expect Earth 666 to be any different?
You had never told your Earth 666 family about your powers though. The perfect opportunity would have been when Maze told you who she was but you chickened out. You were weak. You knew you wouldn’t be able to deal with the rejection. Because you would have been alone again. And being alone sucked.
You wiped the tears that had fallen down your face and let your mind roam. You knew in your heart that Sara was right except you didn’t want that burden. But you didn’t want to be a martyr either. You knew you’d suck it up and be the Paragon that the world needed you to be.
But that didn’t mean you agreed with Sara’s choices.
How could you?
She was willing to save an ex-boyfriend but not her sister. If Laurel were here, you knew she’d probably agree with Sara. She was always putting everyone else first. And by doing so, she got herself killed. All because she put on that stupid mask.
And now, Sara was telling you that you had to wear your dead sister’s mask, the one she was murdered in, no less, in order to save the world? That was insanity.
Your train of thought broke when you heard the door click open. You looked up at the doorframe and saw your girlfriend standing there, staring at you. Behind her, your sister emerged, her face wet with tears.
Maze raised her scarred brow in question, silently asking if you were okay. You nodded lightly so your girlfriend gave you a gentle smile before leaving you alone with your sister.
When she left, Sara walked into the room and gestured to the empty space beside you and when you nodded again, she sat down.
“I’m sorry for what I said.” You said, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
“You were right.” You looked up at your sister in shock and saw fresh tears forming in her eyes.
“I agree with the decision I made because it was the responsible one but it doesn’t mean I didn’t want to save Laurel. Hell, I chased Darhk through time just to kill him but I ultimately realised I couldn’t. Anyways, that’s beside the point. At the end of the day, Laurel was-is-our big sister and she always will be. I’m sorry that she’s gone.”
“I miss her.” You said softly, your voice breaking.
Tears started to spill again and Sara gathered you into her arms. Not having the energy to push her away, instead, you clung to her, sobbing. Sara rocked you gently, her own tears falling. You had never actually grieved together after Laurel died; she had been off with the Legends at the time.
When both of your tears stopped, turning into light sniffles, you pulled away to stare at your sister.
‘I’ll help you, Sara, but I’m not a hero. I’m the furthest thing from it.”
Sara heard her own words ringing in her head from her conversation with Laurel long ago. She had been in your position. She had felt what you felt now. Hell, she still feels like that somedays. But she knew that what she did was for the greater good. And she knew exactly what you needed to hear.
Sara cupped your cheek and rubbed her thumb against your skin and spoke, “I’m not asking you to be a hero. I’m just asking you to help me. To save others in the name of those we couldn’t.”
You leaned into the embrace and allowed her words to take effect. To save others. That was exactly what Laurel would have wanted. It’s what she died wanting to do.
You nodded, “For Laurel.”
“For Laurel.”

pairing: ella x female!angel!reader
warnings: spoilers for the season 3 finale if you haven’t seen it yet. other than that, nothing really. a bit of angst maybe? mainly lots of fluff though.
Tumblr media
You walked into the precinct with a smile on your face, ready to see your beloved girlfriend. You were carrying her usual coffee order paired with her favourite baked good, a special surprise since she had been having such a rough time these past few days.
Poor Ella was reeling from an awful week at work; first, one of her friends and co-workers, Charlotte Richards, was killed, then they found out that the killer was none other than the lieutenant, Marcus Pierce, aka the world’s first murderer Cain. Not that Ella knew that, nor would she believe it if anyone told her that. Lucifer had had a hard time trying to convince the detective, Chloe Decker, that he was the devil for nearly three years. It only took her catching him with his devil face to make her believe him.
Not that you wanted Ella to know about that part of your life. Nearly three years ago, after Lucifer came to Earth, you were sent down to help your brother, Amenadiel, to convince Lucifer to go back to hell. Shortly after you had arrived, however, you had fallen in love with Earth, and with Los Angeles. And then, a few months later, you met and fell in love with Ella Lopez. You decided you wanted to stay on Earth, to have a normal, happy, human like life. Besides the whole being an immortal angel thing, but that wasn’t important until those around you started to notice that you weren’t aging.
You wanted to cheer Ella up, so you decided to surprise her at work. As you walked towards her lab, someone grabbed your arm and stopped you. You turned to see yourself coming face to face with Dan Espinosa.
“Hey Dan,” you said, trying to have a cheery tone in your voice. “How are you? I’d offer you some baked goods, but these are all for Ella.”
“I don’t want baked goods, but thanks for the offer,” Dan said. “Actually, I stopped you because...well...I just want to say to be cautious going in there with Ella. I don’t know how much time you two have been spending together recently, but she’s not exactly...at her best right now.”
You tilted your head, a little confused. You hadn’t really seen Ella since everything went down with Charlotte and Cain and Lucifer. She said she just needed some time to herself, so you decided to give her some space.
You continued to Ella’s lab and pushed the door open. Your usually perky girlfriend was incredibly doom and gloom. She was leaned over her microscope, just staring. Her ears were missing her usual headphones, the room was incredibly silent, missing the sound of her humming along to whatever she was listening to. She was wearing her sunglasses inside, something she herself had always said meant only two things: to hide a massive hangover or to hide when someone has been crying.
You approached the desk and laid the coffee and baked goods down, causing Ella to jump.
“Oh, oh hey babe,” she said, trying to force on a smile. “Sorry, I was just...just looking at some evidence.”
“I didn’t mean to disrupt your work or anything,” you told her.
“Oh no, you didn’t disrupt anything,” Ella said, waving off your comment. “You brought me coffee and muffins? That’s so sweet, thank you baby.”
She crossed around the table to give you a kiss and to take the things you had brought her. You watched her try to seem much more happy and cheery, her usual self, but you could tell she was just putting on the act for you. You slowly reached up to take off her sunglasses. She hesitated a moment, trying to pull away from you, but then stopped and let you take them off.
Her eyes were red and had black circles under them. She looked like she hadn’t properly slept in a week.
“Ella, what’s wrong honey?” you asked her. “I haven’t really heard from you all week, and you look like you haven’t slept in forever.”
“I just...I had a little too much to drink yesterday is all,” Ella said, shrugging.
“Yesterday?” you asked. “Not judging you or anything, but you got drunk on a Sunday?”
“Yeah...well...I have nothing else to do now...I um...I quit going to church.”
This shocked you. Your super faithful, God loving girlfriend, had quit going to church? That’s how you knew something was very wrong.
“What? Why?”
“Because!” Ella snapped. “What’s the point of going to church and praising a God that doesn’t even exist?! And even if He does, why would He let these horrible things happen down here? Why would He let all this death and disease and...and awfulness happen?! Our world is slowly dying, why isn’t He doing anything about it? Why would he let someone kill Charlotte?!”
You were taken back by her outburst. She looked at you for a long time, tears forming in her eyes. You took her into your arms and held her close as she cried. You shushed her and told her everything was going to be okay.
And in that moment, you decided to break the biggest rule to all of angel kind.
~~~~~
That night, you were waiting on the roof of Lux for Ella to arrive. Before leaving that day, you had asked her to meet you there when she got off work. She asked you why, but you decided to keep it a secret. She wouldn’t believe you even if you told her in that moment.
Your heart raced as you thought of what her reaction was going to be. You were hoping it would be a good reaction, but you remembered Lucifer’s therapist, Linda’s, reaction when Lucifer revealed his devil face to her. Although, it’s totally different to learn that you’ve been a therapist to the actual Devil and then to find out that your girlfriend is an angel. Or maybe it wasn’t, maybe Ella would freak out just like Linda did.
The more you thought the over, the more nervous you made yourself. You were debating telling her not to come and meeting her at her place instead, but when you turned around to face towards the door, you saw Ella standing there.
“Hey,” she said, a small smile on her lips. “What did you want me to meet you here for?”
Well, that was it. It was now or never. You had already brought her all the way up here, might as well go through with the plan.
“There’s something I wanted to show you,” you started. “But before I do, you have to promise you won’t freak out or anything. At least, not at first.”
Ella gave you a confused look. “Why? What are you about to show me?”
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you,” you told her. “So just...look.”
You stepped away from her and took a deep breath. She was looking at you in confusion, which quickly turned to shock when you felt your beautiful wings unfurl from behind you.
Ella stood there for a long time, just staring at you. She didn’t speak, didn’t move, didn’t even blink. You were afraid she wasn’t even breathing for a moment. When she didn’t offer you any sort of reaction, you decided to explain yourself.
“You were questioning God’s existence and how something as awful as what happened to Charlotte could be a part of His plan. The truth is, what happened to Charlotte was completely against His plan. Charlotte was killed by the world’s first murderer, Cain, or as you knew him, Marcus Pierce. He was an awful man, he was trying to kill Amenadiel but Charlotte got in front of him to protect him.” There was still no response. “I know this is a lot, Ella, and I understand if you don’t want to be around me for a while so you can digest it all, but I just thought...you deserved to know the truth. You didn’t worship God for no reason, He exists and He hears everyone’s prayers, sometimes He just can’t answer them all. Sometimes he sends angels like me to answer them.”
Ella’s shaking hands lowered from her mouth as she reached for your wings. She stroked the soft feathers and exclaimed in shock, as if she didn’t believe that they were real. She looked at you and took your face in her hands. She pulled you to her and kissed you. You wrapped your arms and your wings around her, holding her to you.
“This is amazing,” she breathed as she looked at your wings. “I’m dating an angel! My girlfriend is an actual angel! Oh my God, I’m never going to get over this. I have so many questions, first being can you take me for a flight with those things?”
You laughed. “I can, but maybe somewhere more secluded than Los Angeles. Humans aren’t technically supposed to know about the existence of angels.”
“Right, yeah. Makes sense.” Ella nodded vigorously before starting to laugh. “I’m dating an angel! Oh my God! Wait, is that offensive?”
You laughed yourself, pulling Ella to you to kiss her one more time.
Adolescent Antichrist (Book 3) Chapter Twelve
Father Figure! Lucifer x Teen! Reader
Chapter Twelve: I Liked It When You Wanted to Die
Summary: Cain faces down Lucifer and (Y/N).
            “We need to get evidence,” said Chloe. She, Lucifer, Ella, and Dan were gathered to discuss how to deal with Cain (Pierce to them). He had sent a killer after Dan, but luckily they had caught him and tied him up at Lucifer’s penthouse. “We can’t just hurt him, Dan.”
            “He killed Charlotte,” said Dan angrily.
            “I know, but if we need to take him in with evidence in order to get justice for Charlotte,” said Chloe.
            “Are you sure, Detective? Because I can get Maze. She’s very good at this sort of thing,” said Lucifer.
            Chloe leveled a pointed look at him. “Lucifer, just because things are ‘back to normal’ doesn’t mean Maze has to be attacking people.”
            “Well, it would certainly make things easier,” sighed Lucifer. His phone rang, and he held up a hand. “Hold that thought, I’ll continue convincing you in a moment. Hello?”
            “Lucifer, we don’t have time—”
            “Pierce,” said Lucifer venomously as Cain greeted him over the phone.
            Dan, Ella, and Chloe’s eyes widened.
            “Hello, Lucifer,” said Cain. “I trust you’re already on my trail.”
            “You don’t get to reinvent yourself this time,” said Lucifer, narrowing his eyes.
            “No. No, you got too close this time,” said Cain. “I can’t just skip town. I need to get rid of all evidence of Marcus Pierce.”
            “Starting with me?” questioned Lucifer. He scoffed. “You forgot your position now.” Cain no longer had his mark to protect him.
            “I’d be careful, Lucifer. I can start with them first.” Cain pushed the phone into (Y/N)’s face in the warehouse he had them trapped in.
            “Lucifer, don’t play his game—!” Cain pulled the phone away from (Y/N).
            “Do you understand?”
            Chloe watched Lucifer’s face pale. “Lucifer?”
            He paid no attention to her. “(Y/N),” he breathed in worry.
            Ella’s hand went to her mouth as she gasped in shock. Dan’s eyes widened, and Chloe’s gaze softened with worry as they realized Cain had (Y/N).
            Lucifer’s fear morphed into anger in a moment. “If you harm them, I will rain all the fury of Hell on your head.”
            “If you want them, track the call. I know Miss Lopez can. I’ll see you soon, Lucifer,” said Cain, hanging up.
            (Y/N) glared at him from where they were tied down. “You’re going to regret this,” they hissed. The shadows below them wavered, but without direction, they couldn’t move enough to protect their master.
            “No, this is all going to plan. I get rid of Lucifer to protect my identity, then I get rid of you,” said Cain. “I doubt God will approve of killing an innocent. He’ll punish me again with immortality, and then everything will be back the way it should be.”
            “You want to live now? I liked it when you wanted to die,” muttered (Y/N).
            “I’ve decided differently,” said Cain.
            “What a time to become optimistic about life,” snarked (Y/N). “You do realize you can’t kill Lucifer, right?”
            Cain smirked. “If Chloe’s there, I can.”
            “Lucifer will find a way. And he won’t stop until he’s hunted you down and sent you to Hell where you belong for what you did to Charlotte,” spat (Y/N).
            “That was an accident,” said Cain shortly.
            “Perfect, you’ll have guilt waiting for you in Hell,” said (Y/N).
            Cain kicked their chair over, and (Y/N) gritted their teeth as they hit the ground hard. They grinned as the wind was knocked out of them. “Learn to shut your mouth while we wait for Chloe and Lucifer.”
l
            Lucifer and Chloe walked carefully into the building. Ella and Dan were watching the would-be assassin while they faced Cain. They found themselves in an old mansion filled with sellable antiques, statues and a few paintings. Chloe reached for her gun as they crept through the room.
            “I wouldn’t do that, Chloe,” said Cain, walking out from a side room. He had his own gun and (Y/N) against his chest. Several other men, contacts of the Sinnerman, emerged throughout the room and floors above. Each held a gun.
            Lucifer ignored the present danger and searched (Y/N)’s face for signs of injury. They appeared tired, and there was a cut on their forehead, but luckily, they didn’t seem any further wounded. And the fire in their eyes was fierce as ever as they stared back at Lucifer.
            “You don’t have to do this, Pierce,” said Chloe.
            “Yes, I do,” said Cain. “And normally, I would just reinvent myself. But this time, I can’t.” He pressed the gun to (Y/N)’s temple, and they sucked in a breath. Their hands were held tightly, but the shadows beneath them shifted uneasily as they strained to help. “Not before I kill Lucifer and the kid.”
            “What? Why?” questioned Chloe, glancing at (Y/N) in horrified concern.
            “Because I know he’ll never stop hunting me,” said Cain. “And I can’t afford to spend the rest of my days looking over my shoulder.”
            “(Y/N)’s just a kid. Let them go,” said Chloe.
            “They aren’t a threat to you,” said Lucifer.
            Cain scoffed. “I’ve seen what they can do. And their death can give me back what I lost.” His immortality would be punishment for killing another innocent. That’s what Cain believed. “But you don’t have to die, Chloe. Step away from him.”
            “Detective, for once, I agree with this imbecile,” said Lucifer. “Step aside. Pierce, let (Y/N) go. My death should be enough.”
            “No, Lucifer—!” (Y/N) winced as Cain pushed the gun harder into their temple as a warning before lifting it to point at Lucifer.
            Chloe narrowed her eyes and stepped between Cain and Lucifer. She couldn’t risk (Y/N) and Lucifer’s lives. “No.”
            “Detective,” said Lucifer worriedly. The two people he cared about most were in danger, and he wasn’t sure how to act.
            “Chloe,” warned Cain.
            “I believed everything you said, Marcus,” said Chloe. “That you loved me. That you did all of this for me. Which is why I know that you won’t shoot.”
            “You made me realize life is worth living,” said Cain. “And I will do anything stay alive.”
            I’ve never been so upset that someone doesn’t want to kill themself, thought (Y/N).
            “And if you get in the way of that…” Cain’s gun focused on Chloe, and his grip on (Y/N) tightened.
            Chloe held up her hands. “I believe you. I don’t want to die. I can’t. Not without stopping you.” She raised her gun and shot.
            The precision was on point, and it caught Cain in the shoulder, even as he held (Y/N). They pulled away as he fell back, and at the same moment, another of the men with Cain shot Chloe, and she fell.
            Lucifer’s eyes widened in fear, and he grabbed (Y/N) with one hand and held Chloe with the other. Drawing them close, he glared at Cain, who scowled back.
            “Finish it. Finish it!” shouted Cain.
            A hail of bullets fired down at the three. (Y/N) cried out, pushing closer to Lucifer as he pulled them and Chloe to him. Lucifer cried out in rage and extended his wings. The white feathers curled around (Y/N), Chloe, and Lucifer, and even as bullets landed and splotches of blood appeared, he gritted his teeth and bore the pain to protect Chloe and (Y/N).
            (Y/N) closed their eyes as their anxiety spiked. Being in Lucifer’s protection helped it, but the shouts and bullets were affecting them. Get me out, get me out! “Dad!” they cried.
            Lucifer held them closed and flapped his wings. They were gone in a second. (Y/N) fell out of the protection of Lucifer’s wings as they landed roughly on the roof of the building.
            They panted and looked up wildly at Lucifer. “Is Chloe…?”
            “She’s alright,” breathed Lucifer. He lay her down gently and faced (Y/N). “Are you?”
            (Y/N) nodded, but the movement was unsteady. “I’m-I’m okay, Dad.”
            Lucifer’s heart swelled. Dad. They had called him Dad. “Alright. Alright. Good. Stay here. I’ll finished Cain.”
            “Wait, Lucifer, don’t alo—” Lucifer was gone “—ne.” (Y/N) furrowed their brow in frustration and darted to the stairs to go back down.
            While (Y/N) ran down the stairs, Lucifer took care of the hired men one by one. Without Chloe so close, he could fight, but he was still injured, and Chloe was still too close to be completely invulnerable. Cain hid and avoided getting killed. He only emerged to fire a shot at Lucifer’s back.
            “Dad!” cried (Y/N), and they threw a hand out.
            Shadows wrapped up around Cain and knocked his hand away. The gun skittered across the floor. Cain panted and glared at (Y/N) and Lucifer.
            “I guess it’s just us now,” said Cain. He pulled out a blade of demon steel he’d stolen from Maze. “But I came prepared.”
            He rushed Lucifer, and (Y/N) moved in between on instinct, even as Lucifer reached out to stop them. The stab cut (Y/N)’s side, and they fell. Shadows rushed up around Cain as he tried to continue his attack, and (Y/N) held up their hands.
            Lucifer saw red. With an angry shout, he grabbed Cain’s arm and grappled with him. The shadows, sensing someone protecting (Y/N), held Cain tighter. Lucifer twisted his arm and pushed the blade. It sliced into Cain’s chest, and he fell, gasping in pain.
            Lucifer helped (Y/N) up, running his hand worriedly across their wound. They shook their head, indicating they were alright. It was a shallow cut, barely there. Lucifer faced down Cain.
            “I am a Devil of my word. I told you, if you harmed them, I would rain all the fury of Hell on your head. And you. harmed. them.” Lucifer glared at Cain.
            Cain chuckled weakly. “I’m going to Heaven.”
            (Y/N) felt pure anger overwhelm them. It burned away the nausea of seeing someone die. This was personal. “No, you’re not.”
            “I don’t…regret anything I’ve done,” said Cain, coughing.
            “Charlotte Richards,” said (Y/N). “Don’t you dare forget her.”
            Lucifer crouched next to Cain. “You killed her.”
            Cain shook his head. “No. That was an accident.”
            “Well, you pulled the trigger. You ended her life. You chose to kill her,” said Lucifer. “Deep down, you know you’re a monster. And that you belong in Hell, where you will torture yourself with that truth for eternity.” His eyes blazed red as he ensured that Charlotte Richards would happily remain in Heaven while her murderer went to Hell where he belonged. “’Cause no matter what you tell yourself, you can’t outrun what you’ve done. What you truly are.”
            (Y/N)’s eyes widened as they watched Lucifer’s Devil Face return to him. He had manifested it, not God or the Sinnerman. It was all Lucifer and his perception of himself.
            “And neither can you,” coughed Cain in satisfaction. He collapsed, dead.
            “Lucifer, (Y/N)!” called Chloe, running into the room from the stairs. (Y/N) stared at her and glanced at Lucifer, still with his back to her. “Lucifer?”
            He turned, and his Devil Face gazed back at the Detective’s wide eyes.
            “It’s all true…” she breathed.
            “Detective?” asked Lucifer.
            “It’s all true,” said Chloe, her voice shaking.
            Oh, no.
What Happens in Vegas...
Ella Lopez x Fem!Reader
Words: 564
__________
Neon lights bloomed over the horizon, bleeding through the smog with flashes of purple and pink and blue. The air creeping beneath the hotel balcony doors was cold, and the thin walls did nothing to muffle the blare of the traffic trickling through the busy streets below.
So many things to distract you, and yet, all you could see was her.
Ella’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes even brighter than usual as she swayed her hips to the music blasting through the shitty, crackling speaker you’d snagged for five bucks online. Her hair was in disarray, tangled around her face and caught in the spaghetti straps of her red dress, as brightly coloured as the overflowing solo cup in her hand. Vodka soda spilt over the edges, clear droplets running over the smooth skin of her arm and dripping onto her dress, though the liquid didn’t steal her attention for even a moment.
“Y/N, dance with me!” she cheered, pulling you from your stupor. You bit back a smile, downing the last of your own drink before jumping up to join her. She threw back her own drink, swallowing it in a few thick gulps that left stray drops of alcohol collecting at the corner of her lips. Neither of you was drunk yet, but if you kept drinking at this rate, it wouldn’t take long.
“You know I don’t like dancing,” you half whined, and when she giggled, your heart couldn’t help but lurch.
“Everyone likes dancing, silly!” she exclaimed, looping her arms around your neck as she pressed her body close to yours. She was warm and soft, and up close, you could see the smudge of red lipstick on her chin, smell the floral perfume clinging to her neck and wrists. Your breath caught as she rolled her hips over yours, throwing you a sultry wink as she grabbed your hands and set them on her hips. She giggled again at the look on your face, and suddenly she was kissing you. Not for the first time, and hopefully not for the last.
Ella’s lips were pillowy and soft, and you could taste the salt of her skin, the bitter tang of alcohol, and the rubbery flavour of her lipstick. She sighed contentedly against your mouth, before pulling away with a beam, her fingers combing through your hair as she pressed one last, playful peck to the corner of your mouth. Red lipstick stained your cheek, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care. Not when she was still so close to you, not while you could still taste her on your tongue, your body overtaken with a cold hollowness left by her absence as she stepped away.
She curled her fingers with yours, squeezing your hand once before shooting you another wink.
“Come on, let’s check out some clubs, huh?” she asked breathlessly, eyes alight with fondness and excitement. “I wanna show off my gorgeous, amazing, stunning girlfriend,” she bubbled, and you couldn’t help but smile, your arms sliding around her waist to pull her in for a hug.
“Fine,” you relented, smile still toying at your lips. “But first, one more thing…”
She raised her brows, and you’d be damned if the quizzical expression curving her features wasn’t the most adorable thing you’d ever seen in your life.
“Hmm? What’s that?”
You grinned, and sealed your lips to hers.
A/N: just a lil drabble i felt like writing up tonight, apologies for any typos etc. hope u enjoyed xx
